About the Organizer

The Moot Court Committee at RMLNLU is the official student-run body responsible for administering mooting activities and events at the university. Comprising members from the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, this committee is dedicated to promoting excellence in mooting and providing students with invaluable practical experience.

About the Competition

The RMLNLU-Kochhar & Co. Arbitration Moot Court Competition is an esteemed event that aims to foster a deep understanding of arbitration law and procedure among law students. As the second edition of this competition, it promises to be even more exciting and challenging than before. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in rigorous oral arguments, present their legal analysis, and compete against some of the best minds in the field.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to participate in the competition, students must be pursuing the three or five-year courses of the LL.B. degree or its equivalent in the academic year 2023-2024 from any recognized law school/college/university in India or abroad. Each recognized law school/college/university is entitled to send only one team to the competition. The participating team must comprise a minimum of two and a maximum of three members.

In a team of two members, both members shall be designated as Speakers.
In a team of three members, two members shall be designated as Speakers, and the third member shall be designated as a Researcher.
No additional member or team coach is allowed to accompany the team.
