The Moot Court Competition

The Shri Dattopant Thengadi Memorial National Moot Court Competition is a highly anticipated event that aims to challenge participants with contemporary and developing aspects of law. Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the competition, students must be pursuing either an integrated 5-year or 3-year Law Program in India from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India. This ensures that only "bona fide" law students have the opportunity to showcase their legal acumen.

General Rules

To maintain fairness and professionalism throughout the competition, the following rules have been established:

  1. The official language for the competition is English.
  2. Each team must consist of a minimum of two (2) members and a maximum of three (3) members.
  3. Teams with two members will have two speakers, while teams with three members will have two speakers and one researcher.
  4. The final results and winners will be announced during the Valedictory Ceremony.
