About the Organiser
The XV National Amity Moot Court Competition is being held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, by Amity Law School at Amity University . This tournament, which began in 2007, has grown to be one of the most prestigious occasions of its sort in India. The competition seeks to motivate law students around the country to pursue academic achievement and legal intelligence.
About the Event
XV National Amity Moot Court Competition '24 provides a venue for law students to compete and showcase their legal knowledge. Following the true letter of the Indian Constitution and performing one's civic duty to the nation are central to the event's theme. Quarter-finals, semifinals, and finals make up the competition's stages. Best speaker/mooter, best memorial, best researcher, and winning team will all receive prizes. Runners-up also receive prizes.
Eligibility
The competition is available to all students who are legitimately enrolled full-time for three or five years in an undergraduate legal programme offered by any accredited college, institution, or university.
Up to three teams may be sent by an accredited college, university, or institution to the competition.
A minimum of two players and a maximum of three players per team are required. When a two-person team is formed, both members will be assigned as Orators. Two team members will be labelled as Orators, and the third member will be designated as a researcher in a team of three.
Teams are forbidden from disclosing their name or the name of their organisation. Nevertheless, during the oral arguments, the speakers are limited to revealing their names to the bench.
General Rules
Teams must submit 10 hard copies (Petitioner-5 and Respondent-5) for formal registration at the venue on February 29, 2024.
The language utilised during the rounds will be English.
The competition will be divided into the following rounds: preliminary rounds I and II, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.
During each of the above-mentioned rounds, the teams shall submit their arguments in the following order: Petitioner Speaker 1, Petitioner Speaker 2, Respondent Speaker 1, Respondent Speaker 2, and Rebuttal Petitioner - Any of the two Speakers and Sur-Rebuttal: Respondent: Any one of the two speakers.

The registration fee is Rs. 4,500/- + GST and is non-refundable. The reporting time is 10:00 a.m. on 29th February 2024 at the competition venue.
