The Role: Legal Manager

As a Legal Manager at Airtel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with the sales team and government agencies, you will exchange information, provide requested documentation, and support effective prosecution efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

Criminal Complaint Handling

Handling fraud-related complaints from law enforcement agencies.
Receiving, reviewing, and assessing incoming criminal/police complaints from various sources, including law enforcement agencies, victims, and witnesses.
Conducting thorough investigations to gather evidence, analyze facts, and assess the viability of criminal complaints.
Preparing and filing criminal complaints, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements.
Collaborating with legal teams and prosecutors to build strong cases.
Maintaining up-to-date records of all criminal complaints, case progress, and relevant documentation.
Liaising with authorities to register FIRs as and when required.
Representing the organization in court proceedings for prosecuting the complaints filed by the company.
Defending the organization against criminal complaints/police complaints in court, if necessary.
Conducting legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies and arguments.
Preparing legal documents, such as complaints, pleadings, and briefs, to support the defense.
Representing the organization in court to present evidence on its behalf in police-related matters.

Liaison with Government Agencies

Serving as a primary point of contact for government agencies, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and other relevant departments.
