Society’s Law College, Bengaluru presents the Student Law Review Journal, a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and engage in a dialogue that appreciates existing jurisprudence and explores the challenges faced by lawmakers, lawyers, and society at large.
The Student Law Review Journal is a student-run and student-edited, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published bi-annually by the Student Law Review Committee of K.L.E. Society’s Law College, Bengaluru. This interdisciplinary journal focuses on law and its allied disciplines, encouraging original research on contemporary issues that draw perspective and insights from sociology, history, psychology, economics, and other relevant fields.
The Student Law Review Journal is now accepting submissions for its second issue through a Call for Papers. This is an excellent opportunity for young law students, researchers, professionals, and luminaries to contribute to the dynamic subject area of law and initiate a cross-current of ideas on emerging issues in our transforming society.
The Journal welcomes submissions on any appropriate theme related to law, its convergence with other social sciences, or any matter of legal contemporary relevance. Whether you have a unique perspective on criminal law, intellectual property, international law, or any other legal area, we encourage you to share your insights and contribute to the advancement of legal knowledge.
To ensure a smooth submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines:
The word limits mentioned above are suggestive, and we are flexible when it comes to word count. If the quality of your submission exceeds the suggested limit, it will not weigh against the selection process. Co-authorship is permissible for up to two authors.
Authors have the option to send an abstract to slr@klelawcollege.org, two weeks prior to submitting the manuscript. While this step is optional, it provides an opportunity for authors to receive feedback and refine their work before final submission.
To ensure consistency and readability, please follow these formatting guidelines:
To facilitate the double-blind review process, please separate personal information such as name, affiliation, biographical information, acknowledgments, etc., on a cover page. Use footnotes instead of endnotes and conform to the latest edition of the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
